After sanding down my grain filler, I thouroughly vacuumed off the white dust then wiped it down with a microfiber cloth. However, there were still some pores white specs of white powder in them. I was hoping the specs would absorb the following coats of vinyl sealer and nitro but they did not. Now I have little white specs in various places including the headstock. How can I prevent this from happening in the future.

I use compressed air and blow it out the best I can , then wipe down with naphtha.

I think wiping it down with naphtha is the key

Air. If you don't have a compressor the cans of air will work
